No but 18 games is a representative sample and it's not exactly that sample of 82.

And the schedule only gets less favorable so they would have to improve that much more.

Let's be honest HOU won 56 games last season with no D12 for half the season plus a myriad of other injuries. Even if the schedule gets tougher on paper that doesn't mean a whole lot. If one team plays the Lakers and one plays the 6ers does one team really have an advantage over the other? Eben though SOS says so? No both opponents suck. When HOU hits they stride it doesn't matter if they're playing a .500 team or a .400 team HOU will be easily better than the opponent so I don't really fret much over SOS.
