I use to love watching Nick at Nite and watching Dick Van Dyke, F Troop, Get Smart, I Love Lucy, etc. I swear half the shows I watched in middle school must have been in black and white.

Cheers is great. Just watched the first two on Netflix. I'm sure I've seen 60% or more when they came out or after it was syndicated. But never seen the very first one.

Coach: Hey Norm... how's life treating you?
Norm: Like I just ran over its dog.

Just finished Cheers. "Sorry, we're closed."
On to Frasier.
On to Frasier.

5 seasons in on Frasier.
I love Frasier. I think it's hilarious. All of the characters are great in it. One of the very few shows I've watched that makes laugh out loud on a regular basis. It's fantastic.
However,
It is no Cheers. Cheers just feels like home. From Norm to Carla, there is always someone you can relate to.
Frasier in the Cheers world was interesting and fun because there was no one else like him around. Fraiser in the Fraiser world is still fun, but a lot of the people he associates with are exactly like him, i.e. his brother (who is fantastic by the way.)
All in all
I love them both, but Cheers will always feel........
like home I guess.
