Serious question. I would think you would let go of Peveto, Cam and whoever else asap to get in the mix for a new hire. What's the reasoning?

You are talking about Les Miles and his buddies that work for him. If (and that's a big IF) he fires either or both, you can thank the AD for forcing his hand. Les Miles doesn't think he has a problem on his staff.

geez, how long have you been a fan?

in 11 years Les hasn't ever actually fired anyone, they are assisted in finding other opportunities & move on. That his way of processing coaches. Personally i appreciate the dignity, and i assume the coaches do to.

Les has us by the balls.

No matter what happens I expect nothing next year except another dismal offense.

Unlike this HC clusterfrick of the past two weeks, Les tends to handle it quietly when letting go of assistants and finding new ones. I doubt we'll hear anything for a couple weeks. Especially given how close he and Cam are.

Alleva laid all his cards down and doubled down. They would look even worst than before if they fire him now so he has no leverage to make miles make a change. Just have to hope miles has a change of heart after 40 years of coaching football.

I respect that process, just hope we move quick to get the right coaches on board.

You don't celebrate total victory in a power struggle by capitulating. He won. Everyone else is going to have to get over it now. It saddens me, but that's what happens when the University prez butts into the AD.

Miles has given lip service to changes for awhile and hasn't done squat. He does not see a problem. Look and listen for the same.

Because everything that happened has embolden an already stubborn coach to the level of invincible.

He will show us who is really boss.

Next year we will be known as the run and dust offense. According to the Miles lovers embrace it or your not a fan.
