And it's really tough to blame the guy when he is looking at a top 3 pick in the NBA draft...

Has Ben Simmons ever said he was going pro after one year or are we all assuming it? I've asked this twice before and just got smart-elect answers. Anyone actually heard it from him?

It can work. Durant was one-and-done (from Maryland, of all places) and he's one of the most dyed-in-the-wool Longhorns there is. He's always repping the school (despite that being a REALLY unpopular move in OKC) and he's probably the most beloved basketball player in school history. Granted, that's not saying too much.

All I can say is Simmons is the real deal and is worth going watch at the PMAC this year. Yes he is one and done but he is the best talent I've seen on the floor since Shaq! Enjoy it win or lose, tournament or no tournament.

Maybe things have changed, but I just don't see this.

While he does have outstanding passing capabilities, he isn't very good from the free throw line and apparently can't hit jump shots to a point where opposing coaches have already figured out how to defend against him.

Help me understand how he's projected to go so high? Is it just his potential?
