Just got let go by Miami. Perfect opportunity to get him in here. Worked with Chip Kelly and began running a version of his Spread but with Pro Style principles. Already has college experience as OC in college (Virginia). This would be a great fit for us. What are tRant's thoughts

I know, but if the guy is willing to make some changes this would be a good opportunity. He's always said he wants a guy with NFL experience

So he can do here what he was doing in Miami, not give the ball to the feature back.
Lamar had 2-3 good weeks and then was shut down to 5 carries yesterday. This shite ain't hard, give the ball to Lamar/Fournette/Guice.
F No, he can stay his arse at home.

We could do a lot worse at OC. Nevertheless, someone will have to replace Cam Cameron.

Just think about that.

#LSU might be looking for a OC, Richt just said he wanted to get back to calling plays &coaching QB’s. @SECbooger says you have to try.
I agree with Booger. Worth a try. Not holding out hope, there's way too much history with the common denominator being Miles.

Disagree, it's not like Miles received an extension of some kind. He'll have to make some changes because of the last month of the season and because some of his staff may be moving on for career reasons.
But I have a hard time believing that Miles came out of this agreeing to changes based on:
- On Fri night or Sat day Alexander cut Alleva off at the knees
- For Alexander to make a move, means he was blocking Alleva from something. Safe assumption that he wasn't blocking Alleva from KEEPING Les, he was blocking him from getting rid of him.
- Alexander made his move(s) after the alleged meeting(s) between Les/Alleva, so that means Joe didn't hear what he wanted to hear in those meetings.
- So, and yes I admit these are guesses but educated guesses rooted in logic and not ESPN twitter, our AD couldn't get rid of our head coach after a week (or more) of planning. With a very big assumption that Les wouldn't agree to X, Y, and Z changes while it was still a possibility he could get fired I don't see him agreeing to changes when he's now got the backing (however temporary) of FKA, a sitting gov, and a former gov.
- Miles immediately chafed at the suggestion of major changes for the offense in the post-game. Believe the man when he says so, because he always has. His history is not necessarily one of not making changes, but of not believing that changes are necessary (a leadership, vision, metrics, and goals failure). No drive/force to deviate from that history now.
