Count me in as someone who thinks the Big 12 should be punished for not having a conference championship game. This year though I do not think anyone wants anything to do with Oklahoma, especially Bama and tOSU.

I get it. The poisonous acorns should be in no matter what because "last year."
Ohio State needs two of Clemson/Bama/Stanford to lose. That's not going to happen. They had their shot, and fell short. UNC getting in sets a bad precedent though, and no one should think they deserve to get in.

Of course they would get in.

tOSU would deserve to get in before Stanford if shite went crazy and they were actually up for a spot.

Maybe, but I'd feel more comfortable about it if they were out of the picture. Northwestern and Oregon are both top 15. Ohio State still holds out on paper, but it's close, and I think being conference champs might push Stanford ahead of the Buckeyes.

Their schedule is beyond garbage with a loss to a 3-9 team.

It's not just the bad loss for UNC. Two FCS teams, zero wins over ranked teams, etc. UNC had a great season, but I don't think it can be a championship season without considerable help, if at all.

You can't be playing FCS schools when other P5 teams are going on the road to face other P5 teams in OOC.
Do you understand what that will do in future? Why would teams ever risk not playing complete chumps if a 100% scheduled practice win is given more favor than a tough road loss.
UNC AD made a schedule to be bowl eligible not to be in contention for playoff. They should get that wish.

Baylor openly admits to doing this and still fails

And if you do, you better not lose to a 3-9 team too.
See how this works?

Yes, but imagine how often they'd be undefeated if they played in the ACC Coastal and scheduled two FCS teams every year.

Well there's the terrible loss, but there's other games that were played this season.
OU has a top 25 SOS.

yepper, which is why Clemson would deserve to go over UNC even if they lose.
compare Clemsons vs Ohio States resumes (top 1 loss teams) and decide.

After next weekend, UNC will have played 11 games against Power 5 teams. Ohio State will have played 9.
Also, you ignore the fact that one of the FCS teams UNC played is 10-2, ranked, and would be favored to beat the horrible 'FBS' Hawaii team that Ohio State played.
The South Carolina loss was a terrible, terrible loss. One that our QB readily admits he blew by throwing three INTs in scoring position (2 in the endzone). Bottom line is we should have beat them by 14+ easily but we played terribly in a game in September. Still, I wonder how terrible a loss it would seem if Spurrier hadn't bailed on his team early in the season.
