Don't worry about these guys. Most of them probably like to whistle in the wheat themselves.
Bayou Paul has a couple pieces for sale in the 5 acre range. Don't remember the cost I'm thinking in the 200k plus range. Private sellers and not on Bayou Paul road off on one of the side streets. Wherever you buy be careful of elevation.
Also on River Road was down pat St Gabriel a couple in the 10 or so acre range are for sale. They are pretty narrow and deep.
