Lots of people were cheering for Coach Miles last night

I'm guessing some of those also have booed the offense in the past. So, while I like Coach Miles as a person & I think the handling of his "firing" was terrible...... seems to me lots of folks got wrapped up in an emotional moment last night.

Personally I was attempting to show Les some respect as I was under the impression that it woukd be his last game. I think thats what most people were doing.

We were cheering because we like him, not as a vote that he should stay.

Just because someone wants new blood for the better of LSU doesn't mean they can't respect a man who has represented us with great class.

Dunno.
Lot of cheers of "We want Les!" Were heard.
The AD and the boosters tried a coup d'état and failed.
No sense trying to rationalize why it failed to make you feel better.
The suite I was in, nobody wanted Miles gone.

quote:Not true. I was at the game. The cheers were "Les Miles", no "we want" included. They were cheering his name out of respect and appreciation for his time here.

If by lots, you mean students in the student section, then I agree.

Were all the empty seats cheering?

I wanted a new coach if one was available. I didn't want to change unless they had their guy in place. I don't want to end up with a Charlie strong or will muschamp. I was cheering out of respect for his representing lsu in a classy manner and appreciating his accomplishments
