for those of you that think Miles has been treated poorly

I've been a Miles supporter almost from day one but he's a FOUR MILLION DOLLAR A YEAR EMPLOYEE. a person that makes that much money should expect some damn heat, public or not, if his results are less than expected. he got the heat, he survived the heat. so no biggie.
imo, the result has a good chance of being worth it; maybe a better chance than hiring a new coach. if this makes him wake up to the problems and make necessary changes to our pathetic offense.

also, he bent LSU over really late into the "coaching hiring" season to leverage a few more years on his deal a couple years ago
when he did that, he changed the paradigm
when he did that, he changed the paradigm

I enjoyed the win last night. Wow we only gave up 7 points?
We gashed chavis on third downs too! What a game!

Nobody outside of your delusional cult cares about your thoughts.

This was said after last year's shite show.
It was not that long ago.
We just wasted another year with no chance of doing anything of significance.
This will be the same story so long as this man is head coach. You all know it.

I agree. Every time he was in a position of power he renegotiated his deal to better his position. Only fair that when the results aren't there he should feel a lot of pressure.

He deserves a ton of criticism.
Les Miles is the head coach of a college program that has more talent than ~115/120 college programs.
The passing game, despite having 5* and 4* players, has been a shambling wreck for years.

What on earth makes you think that Miles doesn't expect heat?

yeah and "every coach does it" is true
but that means he gets treated like any other coach

he probably does. i'm referring to the all the people whining about how "bad" he has been treated and how "lsu left him flapping in the wind", etc, etc.
negotiations at this level are big boy territory. he manipulated LSU in the Arkansas search and his job security went public this go around. no need to feel sorry for him like many have.

Did you listen to Les's press conference after the game? Paraphrasing: there is nothing wrong with the engine of this offense and therefore no major overhaul is needed. If you think major change is coming you are delusional.

Our only options are to hope this is true or give up on next season. If Les can't show some willingness to change next year and we get our arse beat by the rest of the division, he has to go. I really hope he can get it done.
BTW, everyone has said on this board for a long time that they wouldn't trust Alleva go hire a new coach, but did anyone expect him to frick it up this badly?

It is as if Miles is attacking and destroying LSU instead of the scheduled teams He is so assbackwards, he is such a clown

Leslie said last night after the game. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH OUR OFFENSE. So why would he want change?
