Does anyone believe if the team has 3 or more losses next year that they will finally make a change? Are we really stuck with Miles for a few more years? I don't get how people are content for our program to mediocre.

Because he makes people laugh during press conferences and he knows how to Dab! Who cares if he can't win in big games!

Last night Les's wife inked the lifetime contract during that 3rd quarter silent meeting

He retires here and drives LSU further into the abyss.

if he underperforms again then yes.

TBH I'm glad he's returning if they couldn't land a big name coach. At least LSU didn't make a bad hire. These things take time.

I don't think people know what the word mediocre means. Regular seasons of 8-4 and 7-5 are mediocre given the SEC and 3-4 cupcakes/yr.

I don't think he'll do enough to keep his job next year and may even step down with a buyout agreement. Alleva better get the axe if any mention of an extension comes up.

Les miles is going to decide when Les miles is done with LSU. No one else will decide that. If you haven't figured that out yet, you're a boob.

I think he pissed off a lot of important people in the administration, on the BOS and with money by the way this unfolded. He gets cheaper to unload every year. He may have won but the victory has had its cost in internal support. He goes into next season in about the position he was in after the Alabama game. If he loses the bowl, he is on really thin ice.

Hard to care any more. I am sure as shite not getting excited about the future of the program again until Miles is officially gone.

But he is. And the fact that he got through this virtually unscathed means he's virtually bulletproof.

But he's a nice guy.

All of this, if he doesn't win the west next year its over, finally.

And he wont win the west.
