I understand that, but those amounts do not support regular ten million dollar donations.
Wealthy athletic department capable of firing any coach on any contract, boosters withstanding, just as most top revenue producing programs are.

How do you figure? A 10MM donation could be spread out over 5-10 years. Multiple commitments for multiple projects could be made as well.
For instance, commit 10MM over ten years for facilities, 10MM over 10 years for coaches salaries, 10MM over ten years for maintaining the Tiger.
