He will always be remembered as one of the greats. In the words of Frank Sinatra he did it "his way" which was enough to leave LSU a premier program in the nation, yet in the end it also led to his resignation. You have to respect that. You also have to respect the man the he is and the way he represented us all.
Thank you Les. You hold a special place for us all. Godspeed.

I really am going to miss him. I would hate for him to coach somewhere else. It's like breaking up with your girlfriend but being jealous when she starts dating someone else even though you dumped her.

I love Les, but he is past his prime

Thanks for the last 11 years Coach Miles. Appreciate all you've done for LSU. Good luck to you and your family!

We're not shitting on him in this thread.
Thank you for understanding.

Finally watched the tape of his show on Wednesday night at TJ's. Geez, my eyes watered watching that show and he was nothing but class, as usual. I will miss his enthusiasm for our players and LSU, his Lesisms, his grass eating, his seal clapping, his high hat, his genuine personality, his smile, laugh, his pressers, his holding back the team before they enter the field and on and on....
I feel like someone I love is dying and his spouse is planning a big wedding to someone else to take place the minute he's pronounced dead.
Les, I hope only the best for you and if you end up somewhere else, I'll be watching.

Got some t-shirts from someone on here with the pic of Les waiving and that quote on it. Gave them to a lot of people for Christmas gifts. My favorite t-shirt.

The blown 21 point lead in his first SEC game or maybe the arse fricking we got from Alabama in the NC game. I'll pour a 40 out for my road dog tonight.
