What are your expectations for a new coach? You expect a higher winning percentage than Miles? Sec west title how often? Sec champion how often? Playoff participant how often? Minimum wins in any year?

Be specific.

Competence on offensive side of the ball and a defense that dont make me puke is what i expect of a new coach because that is what you dont have with Less right now.

A coach that gears his offense towards the strengths of his talent and actually executes game plans for games or at the very least make in game adjustments when needed. If a coach is willing to do that he will be successful at LSU. I don't think a lot of people would have minded Les had he done those things. Peoples frustrations lie in knowing what potential our team has and how it has been handcuffed by poor coaching.

my expectations are irrelevant. the point is that anyone taking this job should have expectations that exceed those of the fan base. he SHOULD expect to win. every year. or getting closer to that aim.

that's what the great one's expect.

and any coach scared off by expectations at a school as accomplished as LSU the past 15 years doesn't belong here. these coaches think they're the answer. why else would they volunteer for the job??

Miles task wasn't that he under-achieved based on our expectations. it's that he did by those he set for himself for the first 6 years of his career.
