quote:
Flynn said firing Miles would be a mistake.
"I just think that if they decide, whoever makes the decision, just be careful what you're asking for," he said.
Miles is 110-32 in 11 seasons at LSU. The Tigers won the BCS national title in 2007 with Flynn at quarterback.
"He is one of the big reasons that expectations are so high," Flynn said. "I understand when people get frustrated when expectations aren't met. It's certainly a surprise as a former player that it's come to a head at this point like it has."
Flynn spent one year under Nick Saban before Miles was hired and he still bristles at the suggestion that Saban was responsible for the team's early success under Miles.
"I think that's quite a bit of ignorance," Flynn said. "We won a national championship three years after he left. It's been 11 1/2 years since he's been there and people are still talking about it. I mean, get over it."
Flynn said it's difficult to separate speculation from reality as it relates to Miles' status.
"It all depends on who's saying it," Miles said. "The media's talking a lot of trash about him. People outside of the facility are. But what are the people on the inside actually saying? I don't know. What are the actual people that make the decisions saying?"

Loyalty is the most under appreciated virtue. Matt and Les are both stand-up guys.

Yeah, I really don't give a frick what Matt Flynn thinks about the situation.

Love ya Matt. You went to war with Les, so this is expected. I you were a season ticket holder with that experience, and without millions, you may feel/think differently. Your opinion in this area is not very valuable.

We'll consider your opinion
Thanks
Thanks

What else is he gonna say?

Of course they would. Ridiculous

Schism in the football alumni ranks. The guys who actually played for Miles love him. The guys who came before, not so much.

He has some really good points.

It's a good thing his opinion doesn't matter, at all.

Its is hard to separate the man from the results.

I didn't see where Matt Flynn said this in your quote.

Matt won a title with the man. Of course he's all for him.

He is correct.

Matt was already here and taught well. If he can't see that, then he has other issues.

Players tend to put emotion into a coaching decision.

I imagine he feels the same about your important opinion as well.

Matt was Saban's guy how can he be loyal to Les. The rant narrative now has to completely change.

Is Flynn this stupid?? Expectations comes after QB development, game plans, not being a stubborn arse, same play run 5 times in a row, players coming out of a timeout not knowing what play is called, using timeouts you don't have, telling a player to clock it with no timeout, blowing 21 pt leads, sitting on leads , the list goes ON and ON

According to Booger, Flynn must be a part of the 10% of former players that feel that way.
