Winning Powerball Ticket - Did not pay with cash

Assume that I won the powerball but I paid for the ticket with a prepaid gift card. Would that void the winning ticket?

Method of payment has no bearing on that.

All you need is the winning ticket in hand with your signature on the back to claim it as yours.

I've tried to pay for one on a credit card/debit card and they told me it had to be in cash.
