Les Miles has brain surgery in 2000:

Another incident in 2015:

It hit me that he had the exact same symptoms recently. Do you think this is the reason for all the non-information and confusion about his status?

Miles visited doctors periodically after his surgery to check for any growth. Then he stopped.
"I had it monitored for a couple of years," he said. "Then they said there was no reason to. Apparently, they're in a lot of people. Some have them in a real bad area. Others, you never even know about them. I'm lucky. We found out about it. If they hadn't removed it, it could've been very serious."

I hope that is not the case.

Very possible. Would not surprise me at all.

It's absolutely a factor but the whole football thing is the biggest part.

If this was the case, I doubt the athletic office or anyone for that matter would have let negative press happen

He was asked today if retiring was an option and he replied no.

Maybe he's not retiring. Maybe he is gonna pull a Gary Pinkel and stay with the university in some aspect. Maybe there are health issues. Les absolutely would not disclose that during the season because he doesn't want to become the focus.

Maybe another surgery in the near future then and he wants to talk to the team about it???

I mean, I'm merely speculating like everybody else, but that press conference was just odd.
