Either way, the Saints don't need him, we have too many of those guys on the roster.

Not accurate at all. Ed ran a 4.4 40 at 6'5 and averaged more yards per catch than Rod Smith did in '98 and '99 and had over 1,000 yards each season from '98-'00 and 26 tds in those three seasons.
