Considering Petersen is failing at Washington, LSU might as well go after Charlie Strong.
He will lose next week to finish 5-7 this season and probably looking at 6 wins next year.

And Strong is currently turning that program around as well. Interested, since you shoot down so many options, who are your choices as a replacement?

UW will probably be favored over WSU.
Petersen decided to blow up Sark's program and build from scratch. Sark left some giant holes on the roster and this was the best way to go. Bad for the short term, but good for the long term. This was always going to be a big rebuilding year with a ton of 1st and 2nd year players starting. I think UW is the youngest team in college football. There are some excellent signs for the future with one of the top defenses in CFB that's filled with Freshmen and Sophomores.

Next year should be around 7-8 wins and 2017 should be a 10+ win season.
