How LSU football players feel?

With the current state of our beloved Tigers football team, I can't even guess how the players feel and face the realities after the last two losses. Most of them were elite players out of high schools who used to winning and being admired by their fans. They must be very proud playing on national TVs almost every week during the season and are probably dreaming to have a career playing in NFL after college.
But with high expectation to appear for the first time in college football playoff after 7-0 record, suddenly they have to face the reality that the team is actually only mediocre; in the last two games they got beaten in all three fronts: offense, defense and special team. They probably wanted to rely on the coaches for guidance in overcoming the mess, but it seems the coaches (as CLM admitted) were as shocked as the players and may not be able to do much with only two or three games left. And unfortunately, moral supports from the Tigers nation is currently at low (or lowest?) point.

It's simple: the players give 100% and it shows.....they want to play for CLM, OR if they play lethargic and it shows, they're ready for new, creative leadership.

I gotta say I love the players, but I have little sympathy for them if they wanna jab at the fans. These guys weren't even born while I was sitting in my car in the driveway every Saturday night trying to get radio signal just to listen to the game. My emotions for LSU run deeper than theirs ever will.

I left the game after Arkansas last TD because it felt like I was watching a man with a gun beat my dog, and there was nothing I could do but watch. I just couldn't watch anymore. That is why I leave games like that early.

I'd say they feel confused as hell...
they worked their asses off all day every day since last year, compiled a 7-2 record with a chance to go to the sugar bowl....and everyone who is not on the team seems to have kicked them to the curb as a total failure....
who could feel good in that situation?....

Perhaps that is part of the problem. Complacency and comfort with the status quo. If a hungry, eager coach came in I'd bet the mollycoddling days would be over. No more laughing and joking on the sidelines while we're half-assing the effort.

Hopefully most of them are thinking, "I have to quit getting my arse whipped by my opposite on these other teams!"

LOL - when I lived in St Louis (actually in Florissant - next to Ferguson) back in the early 60s I would drive around trying to find a station. Once when crossing railroad tracks on a back road the signal came in clear and strong. I think it was KEEL out of Shreveport. So every Saturday, I would go back and stop on the tracks. Kept the motor running to keep the car warn and to get off the tracks if a train came along.

I stand behind our players 100%. I believe that that their coaches owe them more than they are presently giving, especially in the areas of development and game planning. We have a talented team that needs to come out and play with confidence. I praise God when we win,and I praise God when we lose! Let's support our players and build them up rather than tear them down!

That's dedication.

Probably wondering how long the fans will take to throw them under the bus like they have their HC after losing two games.

The media already has. Look at how they've already parted with Leonard. He is still a heisman in my book.
