i use mine all the time
its like an open rotisserie more than a fryer
turkeys take forever but chickens and roasts are awesome. only way to roast chicken at my house.
i did a big chunk of tenderloin a week ago and it was fantastic as well

I think they cook much quicker - not forever.
I have one and I use it at the beach when we are there for the holidays. Nice to drop a turkey in on the front porch and still have my ovens.
