You ever been to a Texas High School football game? What is the dream of every kid on those teams? To play for Texas. You could have 927 other programs and Texas will still get their pick of just about any kid they want.

I am doing the math. Texas has a lot of schools, I will give you that. But just recently the talent is being spread around d to schools not UT.

Florida had 44 players drafted, 44!!! You split that evenly between the 3 major programs that leaves you with 14 NFL players per team.

Louisiana had 9. LSU signs all 9 of those, they are still behind the Florida schools.

I don't even have to do Georgia since they only have one school because the other runs a certain style of offense that doesn't cater to a lot of recruits.

The amount of d1 prospects in those states is ridiculous. There is enough talent to go around.

Plus the talent here is misleading. Sure LSU can sign 4* and 5* athletes out if LA and make their classes look good but there is no beef here. Its mostly skill players.
