One thing everyone should realize; when you have the worst D in the league everyone is under a microscope: players and coaches.
There will be many changes to this unit next season and it's not a given that Allen will have a job either.

But is everyone really under a microscope? We've had several D coordinators come and go under Payton yet guys like Vitt and Johnson remain. Then you consider Payton not letting Ryan bring in his own staff. So if that's the recipe, then I'm not expecting things to change whether Allen or another guy is the D coordinator next year.
