Seriously, did any of us truly believe we were that good

YES! I saw our "road grader" OL and Fournette with my own eyes. I saw a young QB playing within himself and growing up. I saw a D that, other than a bust of coverage on occasion play very well.

sure we needed to improve but that's what talented teams do. THEY DON'T FRIGGIN' IMPLODE after being 7-0.

something has happened to or on this team and it ain't good. your OL doesn't just go bad overnight.

Not as good as you thought. Our dline always gave up 2-3 yards per play. Didn't work on our passing game. Tons of penalties, poor clock mgmt. the list is long.

When LSU GrandDad is hobbling off the Miles bandwagon, you KNOW things are getting serious.

I agree... the O line was very good early in season. They competed well against talented Florida D line. Bama's D line wasn't THAT much better, not to the degree of what we witnessed. Almost like, Bama took their pride & our O line has not found it again. Our defense isn't such that it can carry the whole team, as it was a few years ago. I lay it all on the sudden poor performance of the O line. Question is why? There is talent there... they need to be coached up. They have to show up every game, no matter being 7-0 w/Heisman hopeful in backfield. It still takes effort, they haven't had much effort last 2 games.

The fact that we had WRs tweeting "Let harris free" and Dupre basically saying he regretted coming to LSU because we hand it off 30 times a game is all I needed to see. This team is not on the same page. That starts at the top IMO.
