I don't know about need
Ohio State got in last year because they're Ohio State and the other two options were Baylor and TCU. I mean it sucks for them, but let's be honest here, they don't move the needle nationally. Even you said so earlier this week.
Now you combine that with the awful OOC, especially in the case of Baylor and you get what we had.
Had very little to do with a CCG. And desperately adding c rappy teams just to satisfy that would be dumb.
