Maybe, maybe not - but he certainly made the LSU coaching staff look like mental midgets when it comes to coaching.

That's because some of them, most notably Lester Miles, ARE mental midgets.

No sir, they did that all by themselves. Sabin doesn't get credit for that.

Wow. A coach considered the best coach in the nation favored by 7 points beats an opponent he has beaten a number of times in a row. I don't understand how this has anything to do with the topic.

The pieces are in place like the OP said. If he is ever going to go, it will be now.
