Go back and look at when Tennessee got frustrated with Fulmer. LSU would probly fare just as bad finding a new coach right now as Tennessee has for the past 8 years.

Tennessee made horrible hires. That is the difference. They hired Kiffin off one year where he was fired as Raiders head coach. They then hired Dooley purely off his name. They then hired Butch Jones that didn't really prove shite prior to being hire.
That's what happens when you hire bad to mediocre coaches rather than looking at their resumes as a whole.

Everyone loves to mention Tennessee, but Tennessee hadn't been recruiting well when Fulmer was fired. LSU will always have talent because of the in state talent pool. But with what's going on we're losing recruits to other programs.
