This game is not on the coaches

Throughout Saturday’s game, all the various social media feeds I am required to watch were inundated with “LES MILES SUCKS” and “TERRIBLE PLAY CALLING” themed messages. While this isn’t a surprise, I find it frustrating, as I feel these comments completely miss the point as to why LSU got dominated offensively. LSU didn’t lose because of their game plan. They lost because they got DOMINATED up front. You can’t suddenly change your offense in the middle of a season. A power running team doesn’t wake up one day and suddenly decide they are going to run the spread.

....of course, I was called dumb for blaming the OL last night and not the coaches.

God forbid anyone blames the players on the field.

so now we can trust T-Bob's words? i could swear some on here was saying he was butthurt after 1/9/12, that he was delusional, and his daddy was a drunk.

What if it was Rueben Randle or Blackwell that penned this article, would the message still be received the same?

For the record, what he says makes sense and is understandable. There's a huge double standard for former players and what they say, though.

To be fair, some posters have been begging for years that LSU move to a more balanced offense. SFP has posted about it just about every Sunday this season alone.

Les Miles has had 4 years to reflect on 1/9/12 and figure out how to correct it. Yet he still thinks slamming into a brick wall against Bama is the way to go. The more tight ends and fullbacks you put into the game, the more line backers and down lineman Nick Saban adds.
