Watch the Plinkett reviews and then tell me with a straight face that they're not garbage. They are trash and should have been made completely differently. Obi Wan and Anakin's relationship is toxic from the start and Anakin butchers children on a whim. It completely failed as a prequel.

People that get caught up in all the plot problems are missing the point. They are action movies. Its not Star Trek. Some of the action sequences in the prequels are really amazing.

I'm not a huge fan of the prequels (though I don't have a visceral hate for them) but get outta here with that. The original trilogy could be savaged just as hard if somebody really wanted to. You just ignore the issues b/c you saw it as a child when your imagination was still willing to ignore inconsistencies, story issues, and other things an adult might think are lame.

The plinkett reviews are hilarious and spot on. I just finished the prequels last night to refresh my memory and the light saber scenes suck. It is WAY too clean and choreographed and they freaking use them every scene. Plinkett put it best the light saber scenes are like dangling a toy in front of a cat to keep the audience interested. I don't hate the prequels too much though. Some of the scenes are just stupid
