Never heard of this Ritter cat. Thx for bringing it to our collective attention.

Clearly he has something against LSU...

if your figures are correct, its certainly an interesting stat.

Having said that, he will not be at this game.

LSU leads Power 5 conference teams in wins since 05. So, it's not something we haven't been able to over come.

The Ritter threads are almost as bad as campaign ads...
I cannot wait until LSU wins and the elections are over.

Actually if accurate, the OP should raise eyebrows.

Actually it's not. We historically are penalty-prone throughout the season regardless of who we play and regardless of who the ref is. So simply picking out a specific ref and saying "oh look we got penalized more" doesn't show that we are penalized more all the time.

Is it necessarily that Ritter himself who is calling all those fouls against LSU? Or perhaps it's an official(s) in his crew?

I find myself disagreeing with emanresu often, but in this case I've gt to agree with him.

Additionally, I seem to recall that Ritter's crew typically throws more flags than anyone else regardless of opponent, and no, I don't have a link. We are also 6-1 in the last 7 games he has officiated.

So long and short of it is, I wish people would just privately despise the guy and give it a rest here on tRant. We have other retarded things to talk about.

Tigers WILL get the calls and no-calls.
LSU is the SEC's best chance for the playoffs. If Ole Miss wins out, even with a bama win Saturday, Ole Miss goes to the SEC Championship game. The SEC can not and will not take that $40 million gamble.
