It's still the defense's best option. If you let him square his shoulders, you're dead. If you get him running sideways, you at least have a chance.
It's turning him sideways between the tackles.
We all know if LF gets outside of the tackles and running wide, that yes he can outrun and turn the corner for bug gains.
