Yes. First, that response showed you didn't really read my post, but whatever. LSU and Clemson's resume's are so good right now, they are virtually lapping the field. Tiebreakers don't even come in to play.
But also, Clemson is the second-biggest brand name in the ACC. If we start from the premise that it is going to be 4 of 5 conference champs, then yes, Clemson most certainly benefits from a brand name bump over all of its competitors save FSU, who has a loss. They get an additional brand name bump by beating Notre Dame, the ultimate brand name in college football.

I believe the committee has basically started an elimination bracket with this first ranking.
You got all the teams playing each other and the winners move on losers, while not quite out, need help. They have done a good job and I have no issue with any of the rankings. If you truly look at what is going on in the rankings, they are giving teams chances to move around.
