On Saturday night, neither back is going to put up his usual numbers, though give me Henry, because Fournette will be facing the better defense and Jacob Coker will have a tighter game than Brandon Harris through the air.

These Geniuses must not be watching the games, LSU is Beast at stopping the run, and Bamas O Line is not nearly as good as years past. And LSU O Line is all world. Give me Buga all day every day! Dude can hit a home run on any given play.

Who cares what they think?

You realize a lot of what the media does is ultimately a self fulfilling prophecy, right?

Even if LSU beats Bama, it still counts as a win for them. The narrative won't change, which will just piss folks like you off even more.

They ALWAYS get their way in the end. Remember that and enjoy this for what it is.

Nah, Mitchell is the only one who got it right - here's what he said:

As for who will have the better NFL career … who cares? It’s all about Saturdays, baby!

That being said, I'm sure Fournette will do much better in the NF[sic]L

re: Does Bama blitz Harris or keep him in the pocket?(Posted on 11/2/15 at 9:52 pm to Big L)
Well the better team always wins when Alabama is playing. Alabama either wins, or beats themselves(which counts as a win for the better team, obviously). In some cases, the refs have the better team. But they're always on Alabama's side.

Someone replied to me the Bama guy was being facetious , I really do not think so.

LF all day. Henry runs thru holes the size of Volkswagens when he gets long runs. Henry runs straight up and will get lit up in the NFL. LF can make people miss and go 0-60 in no time. Sure Henry is a good back but you get him in the backfield before he gets going he is done. Next question

exactly... they also have this for LSU's bowl prediction:

quote:

Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl

Friday, January 1, 12:00 pm ET, ABC
Orlando Citrus Bowl, Orlando, FL
Big Ten vs. SEC
Projection: LSU vs. Wisconsin

are they that clueless that LSU OPENS the 2016 season against wisconsin in green bay? they aren't going to play them in a fricking bowl game.

Picking between Henry and Fournette at this stage of the season is akin to choosing which of your children you like the most. It’s an impossibly unfair question.

no, rich, it's actually not. one great game against texas a&m doesn't put you on fournette's level.

and this gem:

quote:

Alabama’s front seven on defense is strong and physical, and built to stop running games, meaning Fournette won’t be able to get into the second level where he likes to do his damage.

it's like they haven't watched a single LSU game all year.

They just went to the default answer, Bama. We are clearly the better offense.

I gotta say that LF7 is substantially better than Henry. Now, will he gain more yards Sat than Henry? Dunno. Depends on the LSU O-line. The O-line is the key to this game and an LSU win. If they play well, LSU wins. Simple as that.
