To me it's obvious. Cooks has trouble getting open. There is never anyone open downfield. If we had beckham or jarvis Landry we would look like the old saints offense.

We need to run the damn ball! They need two scores and we come out throwing on almost every down. We have been gashing them with the run and we need to burn this clock.

We've rushed for almost 200yds. Cooks is doubled every down. We need another WR.

I agree with you for this game in particular but I'm talking about the big picture.

We ran it all game up until the Colts decided to commit to stopping it and forcing the Saints the throw.

It's very troubling that against man to man coverage, we can't move the ball through the air.

we never had a shot at odell but Landry was definitely a guy I wanted on this team and the saints passed on him twice in the draft for 2 inferior players

I wish LSU homers would stay off this board. Everyone knows we screwed up that draft. Not drafting LSU players wasn't the problem. Hell, we fired our head of scouting b/c of that draft.

We had absolutely no shot at OBJ. Landry is another story.

Give the Saints Colston ala 2009, and Cooks would be killing it.
