I think there are ways to see an early line but I'm not sure it's common practice to take bets when the game is 2 weeks away...could have an injury or a Bama player could get arrested

At least 6 or 7. You get 3 for a home game. But I think we win. Coker sucks

definitely not common practice, and most books don't do it. however you could probably find it somewhere, and it will be treated like a prop bet, with a lower betting limit and increased vig.
what you usually find is before the season starts lots of books have "games of the year" and will set lines for all the perceived big games.
