Someone on this board pointed me towards this breeder a while back, just put my deposit down for a new pup.

Anyone had experience with them before? Beautiful dogs on the site.

If it is the British lab breeders, you won't be disappointed. I have hunted with the owners and dogs. Great people and great dogs. Will be getting one out of the next litter.

Yep, that's them. Very impressed by the site and updated litter pics. Picking up our black female in a couple weeks.

Rest assured. They have done all the homework and certifications. They are very particular when it comes to blood lines and certifications. Great dogs and even better people. You won't be disappointed. Dossetts are great people.

I've posted of Clay a few times on here. Great guy. Awesome dogs. My two year old Red Fox male is friking awesome (I'm biased). Got my neighbor to buy a black male in the Spring. He is as pretty a black as I've seen. Their dogs are the "total package"...hunters with great personality. British is the only way to go, IMHO.

I believe you're the one that recommended them to me. I was looking local but am happy I found this place. Girlfriend and I are excited for our day trip to Troy, AL in a couple weeks to pick her up.

British labs don't have a chocolate color, to my knowledge.

I've read this, but I don't really understand it.

What are the Chocolate labs that look exactly like the Black and Yellow labs with the thicker bodies and blockier heads?

I guess I mean Chocolate lab with thick body and blocky head and not the more slender and lighter "American" lab.

Can't help with the color question beyond what I've said, but as to body type, you'll find some blocky Americans and some British that are anything but. The stereotypes don't always hold true. But, I've yet to hunt with a batshit crazy British. Awesome camp dogs too.

Alabama dog breeder? There's a joke in there somewhere. It's not a Wildrose dog, but I'm sure it'll make a fine biscuit eater.

Can't go wrong with a Brit, their demeanor is so much better than an American.
