That's the narrative for getting to the post season. In that sense they were ahead of schedule. I don't really care for that narrative once you're in the post season because it's pretty much a roll of the dice at that point.

But yes, the team is incredibly young, and only now starting to flex financial muscle.

They are stacked in the lineup. They have a Cy Young candidate #1 starter and a legit #2 that would be a #1 most anywhere else. They have financial flexibility.

What do they do to bolster that rotation? Sign all the Greinkes?
