OP I commend you for taking on a companion that most would pass on.
Dogs are exceptional with hand signals I suspect this guy to be no different.
*I am concerned with him and traffic in any way, so a shock collar may help him understand the roadway is a no no. Also I suspect you do not let your pets wander, but this guy especially cannot wander unattended.
