Yes, I know WKU is solid and they have a great passing attack.

LSU's secondary needs work on cover assignments and this is another chance for the D-line to work on getting pressure on the quarterback (they did a good job against FL).

The final score of this game will not be that important. The game time experience LSU's secondary will receive against a pass happy team will be huge. This is the perfect opponent for LSU to fix some areas on defense.

The game score is irrelevant unless we lose... Let's hope we put this one away quickly.

I agree, but lets make sure we win

Don't want this to be a one score game in the 4th quarter. My heart can't take that shite.

But yes, our secondary will be worked out big time on Saturday. Hopefully Mills gets a lot of snaps and it helps get him back into game-shape/mode.

LSU's best defense in this game will come from LF7, Guice, & Williams. Hopefully tey don't bust too many long ones too quickly. The key to stopping WKU is keeping the ball away from them & ground & pound them while the clock ticks away. This game needs to go by quickly, get it over with. Let LF7 add to his stats, & get to the open week without any more injuries & prep for bama.

3 interceptions for the defense, 4 sacks.

Fournette rushes for 260 and 3 TD's.

Malachi Dupre with 2 TD catches.

good thoughts. I concur. We need to be tested to develop the pass defense for "playoff #1", the last 4 game gauntlet, when we know we will be tested in the passing game.

I think you are a exactly right Tigerfanzz. If we sustain long grueling drives and they score quick because of their pass happiness it will wear their D down pretty quick and give us the advantage early.

For the first time this year, I'm all for ground and pound. This team will attack, what is arguably, our weakest link to date. Gotta keep the ball away from them and giving them a big heapin serving of LF is exactly what the doctor ordered.

How will this team attack our special teams in a way other teams haven't?

Their D sucks, we should be able to easily move the ball on them.

Mills coming back is going to alleviate a lot of the missed assignments.

WKU offense resembles Ole Miss and Bama Offense as well.

LSU has secondary confusion...

Seriously, I bet they get it sorted out this week.

That's your opinion, but the secondary is on the field a little more than STs so there's that. I'm not disagreeing altogether though.
