Most people on money talk will not have credit card debt due to the posters here being more financially aware. $0 paid off monthly.

This. Except for 1 time. I'm the kind of guy who pays bills when they come in the mail. It always seemed logical to me. But I got a Visa bill with a late interest fee of $100. I called Visa and told them that I didn't get a bill last month.

Them: "We sent it. If you didn't get it it's not our fault. You should know it comes on the 25th of every month and if the mailman loses it just send us what you think you owe".

Me: "I understand that some people may use this excuse to get out of paying a late fee when they actually got the bill. But if you check my records I've never failed to pay off my Visa bill in 35 years. That's 420 straight months. Don't you think it's more likely that you made a mistake?"

Them: "It's more likely that the post office made a mistake but it's your responsibility to know what day the bill normally comes."

Online automatic bill pay, old man

Several thousand dollars monthly, but paid in full every month. I've never once carried a balance, much less paid interest.
