I'm in this situation. I could have bought a nice fishing camp or a pretty badass center console offshore boat for what we will end up paying in student loans. The terrible part is I inherited the debt with marriage. My wife's job is to pay off her student loans and cover daycare at the moment . But in a few years we'll have more money than we know what to do with, so there's the bright side of it
