The WKU game couldn't come at a better time.

The secondary will get a ton of work this game. Mills should receive more snaps and now we can evaluate who will start at FS and the Nickel. Coach O has the D-Line rotation figured out and they played a full game without wearing down.

The offense is looking beautiful. Clean up some of the penalties and they will be damn near perfect.

Special teams is a problem, but once again this is the game to get it all right. GEAUX TIGERS
I'm feeling 52-10

1 TD coming from a pick 6 by Toliver and Guice will house a kickoff.

Well, we haven't held anyone to 10 points yet and I have no doubt we will come out flat like we always do.

Plus WKU is better than Syracuse and EMU.

I agree. But look at our games this season.
Teams like East Michigan and Syracuse scored 20+ points on our D. Don't get me wrong- I am NOT complaining. We are winning.

I want the D to come out and prevent 10 points from being scored but its not our modus operandi this season...

The defense pretty much held Florida to 14 if you think about it.

ETA: I do think we will come out flat though FWIW

This will be a MUCH stronger test than most here believe. Yes, LSU should certainly win but without a full effort, has potential to be a disaster. For anyone doubting how good they are I'd suggest you watch them on film before you take for a "gimme". We will need solid d-line pressure & solid play in the secondary. We cannot afford to look ahead - coaches well know this & will hammer on it all week but it's always hard to drive it home to the team in this situation. Don't be surprised if it doesn't take playing from behind to bring life to our guys. Hopefully, we can take a clean, decisive win and look like champions. The term "trap game" is overused & abused but IMHO, this one fits.

You are right. We have the worst punt return coverage in the nation, according to ESPN on Saturday.

Its not all on the D for the scores of those game.

This game will give the secondary more work than any other team we face all year, even A&M most likely.

They don't have the talent of the SEC foes, but they throw the ball A LOT and they do so very successfully.

Should be a fantastic game to get Mills back in game-shape and to work on our secondary.

They will score 20+, and I have little doubt about that. We will be able to run it on them though and control the game. People are really underestimating them because they aren't a major conference household name, but they are a solid football team and FAR from the worst we've played this year. This team would score 50+ on EMU.

Agree.

This game has me unusually stressed out. Post-UF, pre-bye week/Bama.

An extremely potent offense that has played solid teams.

The 4 games they won by more than 3 points come against teams a combined 7-19, none of which are over .500. They have 2 and 3 point wins over Vandy and LaTech, color me not impressed.

Vandy held them to 14. I would think 10 is possible
