Would I care? Yeah, I don't want my vehicle to get dinged up for no reason. Would I care enough to channel my inner OT and confront them? Nah, I got more important shite to worry about.
I think it's funny people say they will confront someone who door dings their car. What exactly do you plan on doing? Or does letting someone know you have a grievance make you feel better about the dent that is now in your car door?

No one can door ding my vehicle. The rock sliders are at the height of most people's side window. Unless they are in Bigfoot or some other monster truck. (rock sliders are 1/4" steel DOM tubing on 1/4" steel angle iron). So, no.
If they could, it would blend in with the rock and tree rash. So, no.

Getting them to pay to have it taken care of. I didn't spend the money on my car just to have some ding dong ding it.
And you can downvote all you want, I have no problem holding someone accountable for something they did to my property. I make damn sure to not ding other people's cars, even if they are on the line.
