They are pretty stubborn.

Mine is trained to use a doggie door. Which he uses for the most part. Except if I leave...then he'll say "frick you for leaving me at home alone" and go pee or poop on the dining room floor so we have to crate him anytime we leave the house.

Even though they have their issues(stubborn and shed like crazy)...I'll likely always have a pug, once you have one you get hooked on them cause they really are awesome little dogs. My husband seems to think this will not be the case though(even though I keep telling him). He'll see

Our pug just turned 10. She's a great dog and part of the family. They're not that easy to train though and can be pretty stubborn. She's good about going outside but if you're wanting to teach them tricks, you're probably out of luck. Also, they need a good deal of grooming and they shed really bad. You'll also need to keep an eye on the folds of their face as they can get irritated and even infected pretty regularly. Also, baths are needed quite regularly or they will start to stink. They don't do well in really hot places so they're inside dogs for sure. You can take them out to get exercise but just don't leave them out all day.
