Are you suggesting we're never going to run out of petroleum?
no, I'm suggesting there is way more than anyone knows. Will we run out? I dont know. Nor does anyone else.

Wish they would give some more information on the porosity and permeability.

I'm not an O&G engineer, but with it being so close to Syria, couldn't Syria and Russia simply tap the reserve from within Syria and steal oil from the Jews?

Unless we quit using it, yes we will run out at some point.

They would have to find the actual zone of interest first.

I'm thinking the anti-Israeli sentiment fad which has become popular with American lemmings is about to experience a very significant reversal...

We will not run out in our lifetime or the lifetime of our children.

In Russia, oil discovers you!

Is that difficult to accomplish in a geographically small area of land comprising the area around the Golan Heights and the border or Syria?

Wonder what the "we're gonna run out of oil" crowd thinks of all these new finds?
This crowd has been gradually "evolving" to a "we have too much oil" stance.

This isn't "new" news. For these guys to be involved, they knew this was there

Yes. The earth is an extremely complex body of mass. Areas may contain the same reservoir, but reservoir characteristics may be vastly different, preventing recovery. Overall I can tell you it's definitely possible, but without a full understanding of what type of reservoir we're talking about, I cannot say how likely or unlikely it is that they do this.
Keep in mind that man can only recover so much of what is found. Lots will be picked through by others, and the majority will be left in the ground.
