You're going to compare "Air" McNair to a dude who throws the ball 14 times a game?

You're thinking about NFL McNair. He only had him by probably 10Lbs max in college
nah, even with Brandon's weight gain, Alcorn Steve was still a bigger dude. Steve was probably like 225 in college, Brandon's what, 205 now?

They are around the same size same arm talent, but I think Harris is faster
For the first time I have to be negative on this site. But this is top 5 worst post I have ever read. Harris may be good but he is no where near as gifted as McNair was in college. McNair played 3 positions in football and could have gone pro in baseball out of high school. I got to see him play in person in college and the NFL quite a bit and McNair was 10 times the QB at a 1AA level than Harris and most 1A QBs at that time. I don't know the ceiling for Harris, but McNair was in a class of his own and finished 3rd in Heisman voting his senior year. We went on to almost win a Superbowl in 1999 and was later named an NFL MVP before he retired. I don't know what this post was meant to do, but this statement isn't helping your cause at all!

I saw the Alcorn State vs Southern game in '94. It was played on the local access channel on TCI Cable in Denham Springs. One of the most entertaining games I've ever seen.
Steve McNair was unbelievable. If the internet was as accessible in 1990 as it is now, Steve McNair would have played in the SEC.
On another note, how hot are those SU Dolls? Perfect bodies on pretty much all of them, and they don't even have to do squats seven days a week like those IG Models. SU Dolls look that way naturally.

Actually, I think Harris is a Joe Montana clone with a dash of Fran Tarkinton

I'm not saying that Sophomore Brandon Harris is like Senior or NFL McNair.
Then let's compare Harris to sophomore McNair:
quote:
In 1992, McNair threw for 3,541 yards and 29 touchdowns, and ran in for 10 more scores

Meanwhile, LSU had a freshman QB named Jamie Howard.

Harris has 3 years left considering this one just started.. (I'm including this one)
Harris and LSU are going to be pretty great
He played against D2 competiton and he lost like 3 or 4 games his first season?
Let's let Harris play out his Junior and Senior year before just saying no
Let's not............
McNair played against 1AA competition not DII.
Again, if you saw him play in person you'd know how ridiculous this comparison is. Even as a sophomore McNair was INCREDIBLE. Again, if you never saw him play live in person then you really don't get it. Harris is a good quarterback.................may turn out to be very good. But Steve McNair good................................? If this happens, we'll win 2 national championships in a row....................and I'm not exaggerating.

From 1991 to 1995 when I was a student at LSU and McNair was playing college football, if LSU had away games, I went to see Steve McNair play several times. There is nothing about Brandon Harris as a freshman or sophomore so far that resembles McNair other than being African-American! It's unfair to Harris to make such comparisons before he has even thrown 100 passes in a season. I hope that Harris is a third to half as good as McNair was and LSU could make playoffs each year! But he is not in the class with McNair at this point and may not ever be.

Harris reminds me of Tom Brady mixed with Drew Brees. Probably a little better though. His personal best of 157 passing yards last week was truly magical.

Yea, that post could be the dumbest I've seen on the rant and that is a real accomplishment. They are both black.

It is a pity McNair had to die so young.

I saw McNair play against Northeast Louisiana University way back in 1992 in the 1AA playoffs. He was a sophomore or maybe a freshman then if Im not mistaken. Harris has very similar arm talent as compared to McNair at the same stage of college. McNair was faster and ran like a tailback. 2 different body types, McNair was more muscular and compact, Harris kind of rangy and deceptively fast.

McNair was a naturally bigger guy, so disagree.

Advise him of the following:
-stay clear of Nashville
-bitches be crazy

Didn't Steve McNair break all sorts of yardage records?
The only record of note Harris will have is bottom 20 in college football.
