PM's last 6 years at LSU: 1-4 in Omaha
Barely better.
And I know about the regular season success. PM has had really good teams. Better teams than what smoke had. Again, that's my point. You'd think he'd have more to show for it.

Smoke: Omaha 2 times in 5 years.
Mainieri: Omaha 4 times in the last 7 years and won the CWS once. I don't count his first year because the talent inventory was scarce when he took over after Smoke.
You've got a vendetta against Mainieri that even casual baseball posters on the Rant acknowledge. You're not even close to being objective.
