I would never pull my gun to prevent a car theft.

Unless I was sure I could get to my gun, I would even give up my car to a car-jack. As much as I would prefer to kill him, it's just not worth the hassle, especially over an insured vehicle.

The wild card in all this is that you never know what a POS w/ a gun is going to do.

This time it went bad for the victim, but who's to say they wouldn't have shot him anyway?

What an arse. How does dickwad with the gun know the victim didn't plan this "carjacking" as an elaborate insurance scam?

I think I'd be willing to take the odds of not being shot by the carjackers to actually being shot by some cowboy.
