The blowup being so big was due to many things all at once I think.

First of all, it was complete shock. Most evictions are known ahead of time. But both sides thought they had the vote this time.

Michelle was always a little hot headed and she had a thing for Jessie so she was pissed and wasn't ever afraid to be vocal. Plus she just got a trip to Hawaii taken away and put in the unitard like a day before this happened.

April being so mad is because of that little clique with her, Keesha and Librya. There was already a lot of tension there. And now Keesha and Librya were coming out and saying suck it April.

Jerry couldnt grasp the concept that your religion has nothing to do with playing Big Brother. It's a game where you are pretty much told to lie and scheme. Your word has to be broken at some point. He thought of Dan as a grandson up until that point and Dan betrayed him.
