I'm with you on this I was never big on JP, out side of Jeff Goldblum and Newman, I didn't really care for the characters. The CGI was cool, but was it a quantum leap ahead of T2? I really don't remember and the T-Rex saves the day

I do agree with some others on WOTW, i find it gets better with repeat viewings. And I am a big fan of Minority Report.

Jurassic Park maybe was the first in awhile that surpassed the hype maybe. It wasnt a favorite of mine and not only does Trex save the day, it does it in the grand lobby with the When the Dinosaur ruled the Earth banner falling framing the moment.


War of the World struck something in me and has stayed with me to this day. Not like Jaws when you have to think about jumping in water but I watched WOTW about a year after my first born was hatched. That movie terrified me in a new and different way than anything before.
