Would they play the first 8 games on the road all in the US and then the last 8 in London, and have a facility in the US?

That, and I bet the game before they leave for the United States trip would be a Thursday game.

Not only would it work, but it would be easy for it to work. There are countless poker chips for the NFL to rearrange for the sake of teams who travel more than others.

Monday games, Thursday games, bye weeks, and consecutive road games are all ways to assuage these concerns. Every NFL schedule is made with travel concerns in mind, and each year the NFL makes more than 250 possible schedules and picks the best one. This isn't nearly the problem that talking points people make it out to be.

The only real problem involves money and international lines.

4home-4away-4home-4away with a bye week somewhere in there.

Something like that I would imagine.

The team would own their own Concorde, obviously. There's gotta be one sitting in an Air France hangar somewhere that they can get on the cheap

Overnight flight 1st class. That would be so tough, not really. It's probably going to happen soon enough. Move the Dolphins to another division and take over a shite franchise and put them with Pats, Jets, and Bills. I think 2 week rotation home and away.
